Day 1 : Bhopal & Sanchi

Check-in
Hotel. Breakfast and departure for Sanchi 46 kms motorable road to see the famous
stupa being built by Mauryan Emperor Ashoka. It is one of the oldest stone structure
with 36.5 m in diameter and 16.4 m high with massive hemispherical dome.
Back to Hotel enjoy late after noon visit to Jama Mazid built in 1837 by Kudsia
Begum and in evening enjoy the boating in one of the widest lake shopping in
famous chowk bazaar . Over night stay at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2 : Bhopal to Panchmarhi
After early breakfast drive for Panchmarhi a distance of 195 kms. and a journey
of from 5 to 6 hours.
(Panchmarhi is a place surrounded by mountains, flowing waters, forest etc.
British developed Panchmarhi as resort and their influence is embodied in its
churches & colonial architecture.)
Check-in hotel and relax. We proceed to witness the sun set from the Highest
point in Satpura ranges. Late evening free to see the famous churches almost
1800 years old, enjoy boating in a lake with chilly evenings with fresh air
from the forest. Followed by overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3 : Panchmarhi
Breakfast: Proceed to visit.
Bee Falls: A spectular fall in the stream, provide water to Panchmarhi and has
bathing pools.
Jata Shanker: A sacred cave under a mass of loose boulders in which the Jambu
Dwip stream has its source. The rocky formation resembles the matted locks of
lord Shiva.
Mahadeo & Chauragarh: The dedicated to lord Shiva and a place to visit.
Pandav Caves: Panchmari drives its name from this place. The Pandavs brothers
has passed some of the time in their exile in sand stone Caves.
Back to hotel a late evening, free to rest and shopping. Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 4 : Early Breakfast. Departure for Bhopal on en route visit Bhembetka
Caves almost 35000 years old, the biggest repository of prehistoric art in India
on over hanging rock. We will find deep rocks and shallow shelters where stone
age artists painted their fears & hopes on hanging rocks.
On way Back visit the famous Bhojeshwar temple founded by Parmar King of Dhar
Raja Bhoj (1010-53) and is renowned for the remains of magnificent Shiva Temple & cyclopean dam.
Back to Bhopal Board Train to Delhi.
Ujjain
Pilgrimage Tour

Day 1 : Ujjain
Pick-up from Rail station Check- in hotel. After noon visit to the first Joytirlinga
shrine of Mahakaleshwar. The Mahakaleshwar temple at Ujjain is located near
a lake; it has five levels, one of which is underground.The temple itself is
located in a spacious courtyard surrounded by massive walls. The shikhara is
adorned with sculptural finery. Brass lamps light the way to the underground
sanctum. It is believed that prasada offered here to the deity can be re-offered
unlike all other shrines.
Legend said that a demon by name Dushana tormented the residents of Avanti(
the city ) and that Shiva appeared from the ground and vanquished the demon,
and then upon the request of the inhabitants of Avanti, took up permanent abode
here as Mahakaleshwara Jyotirlinga.
After offering the prayer at Mahakaleshwara, proceed for River shipra a place
for Kumbh parv. Kal Bairon mandir, Jantar Mantar, etc.
Evening free for Shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel in Ujjain.
Day 2 : Omkareshwar & Maheshwar
After breakfast at Ujjain hotel we proceed to visit the second JoytiLinga at
Omkareshwar (133 kms a drive of 3 hours) and the confluence of river Narmada
and Kavri.
Here the river Narmada branches into two and forms an island Mandhata or Shivapuri
in the center The shape of the island resembles that of the visual representation
of the Omkara sound, "Om". Legend said that the Vindhya mountain prayed
to Shiva for blessing - Omkareshwara and was blessed here.
The Devas requested shiva to stay with them on devotees request the Shiva splitted
the Shivalinga into two, one half find its abode at Omkareshwara and the other
at Amaleshwara or Amareshwar.
Together with the visit of Shri Omkar Mandhata Temple, Siddhnath Temple, 24
Avtars, Satmatrika Temples (10th century old temples), & Kajal Rani Caves.
By evening drove to Maheshwar (62 kms its 1 hours 30 mins. drive) for Dinner
and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Maheshwar & Mandu
(Maheshwar: was the glorious city at the dawn of Indian Civilization and now
known as temple town with the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata located on the
bank of river Narmada. Its famous for Maheshwari sarees being introduced by
Rani Ahilyabai about 250 years ago.)
After Breakfast: We proceed see Raj Gaddi & Rajwada of Holkar dynasty. Ghats
(Bankof river Narmada) Peshwar Ghat, Fanase Ghat & Ahilya Ghat and Temples
like Kaleshwar, Rajaraeshwara Vithaleshwara & Ahileshwar.
Back to hotel for late lunch.
Proceed for 3 to 4 hours journey to Mandu (63 kms drive of 1.30 hours) for Dinner
and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Mandu & Indore
Mandu was the fort capital of Parmar rulers of Malwa in 13th century. The fort
was encircled by 45 kms parapet walls with 12 gateways. The main entrance is
known as Dilli Darwaza. It was also known as "Shadiabad" the city
of joy. It has exquisite palaces like Jahaz & Hindola Mahal with ornamental
canals, baths & pavilions.
The Jami Masjid & Hoshang Shah's tomb was so meticousley designed that it
inspire the Mughul ruler for Taj Mahal centuries later.
After Breakfast. Procced to explore the Mandu fort with many attraction Like
Hoshang Shah Tomb - Jami Masjid ( inspired by great mosque of Damascus) Ashrafi
Mahal (buit by Mohd.Shah Khilji), Jahaz Mahal (120 mts.Ship palace built between
two artificial lakes Munj Talao & Kapur Talao) Hindola Mahal: Swinging palace
built by Ghiyas - ud - dins.
Back to Hotel for late lunch. After lunch we proceed for Indore (99 kms drive
of 2 hours) for dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 5 : Indore
The Day is free till 4 pm to explore Indore its local market.
The Great Maratha city being built by Rani Ahaliya bai Holkar on the Bank of
river Saraswati.
The City of Indore is now known as Mini Mumbai and is famous for its Namkeen
and eateries.
After Breakfast we proceed to see the Famous Bade Ganpati ( 25 Feet tall Ganesh
Statute built in 1875 by Holkars)
Kanch Mandir - the famous Jain Temple
Khazran: Temple devoted to God Ganesh
Lal Bag Palace.
After Lunch we proceed to Railway Station \ Airport to Board for Delhi.
